RECALL FOR ELECTRICAL SYSTEM : WIRING : FUSES AND CIRCUIT BREAKERS

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2017-2019 Rockport work trucks. The inline fuse that protects the cargo and compartment lights circuit may not have been installed during production.

Description Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2017-2019 Rockport work trucks. The inline fuse that protects the cargo and compartment lights circuit may not have been installed during production.
Consequences Without inline fuse protection, excess current cause the wiring to melt, increasing the risk of a fire.
Corrective action Forest River has notified owners, and dealers will install an inline fuse, free of charge. The recall began April 8, 2019. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-522-7599. Forest River's number for this recall is 29-0987.
