FOREST RIVER BUS Recalls

Sep 01, 2026 – Forest River bus, LLC (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024 Mobility Trans Safetbus, Glaval Universal, 2025 Senator II, and Starcraft Allstar transit buses equipped with certain S-Series and K-Series wheelchair platform lifts. The electrical contactor may fail, preventing the controls from stopping the lift.

May 28, 2026 – Forest River Bus, LLC (Forest River Bus) is recalling certain 2026 Glaval Titan II, Primetime, Entourage, Concorde II, Commute, Forest River Bus Eldorado, Champion Bus, Starcraft Starlite, Allstar XL, 2026-2027 Glaval Universal, Starcraft Allstar, Startrans Candidate II, and 2025-2027 Forest River Bus Senator II, equipped with certain QRT-3 wheelchair retractors. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.

Jan 23, 2026 – Forest River Bus, LLC (Forest River Bus) is recalling certain 2026 Collin Bus transit buses. The body panel joint adhesive may have been applied to the incorrect location, causing the panels to separate. As such these vehicle fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 221, "School Bus Body Joint Strength."

Jan 23, 2026 – Forest River Bus, LLC (Forest River Bus) is recalling certain 2026 Collins Bus school buses. The body panel joint adhesive may have been applied to the incorrect location, causing the panels to separate. As such these vehicle fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 221, "School Bus Body Joint Strength."

Jan 16, 2026 – Forest River bus, LLC (Forest River Bus) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Trans Tech school buses. The modified seating floor plan may exceed the the rear Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR). As such these vehicles fail to comply with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other Than Passenger Cars."

Nov 13, 2025 – Forest River Bus, LLC (Forest River Bus) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Collins School Bus and 2025-2026 Trans Tech School Bus vehicles equipped with certain QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.

Nov 13, 2025 – Forest River Bus, LLC (Forest River Bus) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Starcraft Starlite, Allstar XL, Allstar, StarTrans Senator II, Mobility Trans Safetbus, Glaval Universal, Forest River Van, Elkhart Coach, Eldorado, Candidate II, 2025 StarTrans Senator II HD, Glaval Entourage, Champion Bus, and 2026 StarTrans P/S2 transit buses equipped with certain QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.

May 30, 2025 – Forest River Bus, LLC (Forest River Bus) is recalling certain 2023-2027 Collins Bus school buses. The lock on the emergency exit door may fail to unlock. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 217, "Bus Emergency Exits and Window Retention and Release."

Apr 25, 2025 – Forest River Bus, LLC (Forest River Bus) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Champion Challenger, Defender, 2024-2025 Glaval Entourage, and 2023-2024 Glaval Universal transit buses. The entry door ground wire may be incorrectly connected to the positive side of the battery instead of the negative ground.
