TWO HYDRAULIC SYSTEM PIPES CONNECTING THE HYDRAULIC BRAKE PUMPS TO THE ACCUMULATORS CAN CONTACT EACH OTHER, RESULTING IN A HYDRAULIC FLUID LEAK.

Description TWO HYDRAULIC SYSTEM PIPES CONNECTING THE HYDRAULIC BRAKE PUMPS TO THE ACCUMULATORS CAN CONTACT EACH OTHER, RESULTING IN A HYDRAULIC FLUID LEAK.
Consequences CHAFING OF THE PIPES CAN RESULT IN A FLUID LEAK AND CONSEQUENT LOSS OF BRAKING PERFORMANCE.
Corrective action DEALERS WILL REPOSITION THE PIPES TO PREVENT CONTACT BETWEEN THE TWO PIPES.
Notes OWNER NOTIFICATION:OWNER NOTIFICATION WILL BEGIN DURING APRIL 1997. NOTE:OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT ROLLS-ROYCE AT 1-201-967-9100.ALSO CONTACT THE NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADMINISTRATION'S AUTO SAFETY HOTLINE AT 1-800-424-9393.
