3/6/2017 - Bertha Lowe
I purchased new in March of 2009. No major problem until July 2016. PCM replaced twice. Some transmission work (patching done) My car now drives like a old truck and dealership has "found the problem and fixed it 3 times". I am at a lost for what to do now. I'm not sure if they are just fleecing me or if they actually don't know what to do. (Just tell me you don't know) I have spent over $1600 and it runs worst that it did before I took it in the first time. Very disappointed.

Do you drive a 2009 DODGE AVENGER?

Just because a car has been recalled does not mean it is not a reliable car. Millions of cars get recalled every year. Recalls often involve problems that are rare but could cause a serious problem if they occur. So the risk to any given driver is often remote, even though there may be a few high-profile incidents traced to the problem.
