1984 GMC P35 - FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY:FILLER PIPE AND CAP

Problem: DUE TO A MANUFACTURING PROBLEM WITH THE FUEL TANK FILLER PIPE, THE FUEL CAP MAY IMPROPERLY SEAL THE END OF THE FILLER PIPE. THIS FAILS TO CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD 301, "FUEL SYSTEM INTEGRITY." IN THE EVENT OF A COLLISION, AN IMPROPERLY SEALED FILLER PIPE COULD ALLOW FUEL SPILLAGE.Recall Details
