Yes unfortunately I do drive a 98 mercury mystique great car, minus electrical shorts, all my lights flicker, done replaced altenator 2 times and battery once and brakes work for everything, but sudden stops ABS lights on all the time, along with check engine dealer has no clue what's wrong. Its very dependable despite its problems and I love my car.

Do you drive a 1998 MERCURY MYSTIQUE?

Just because a car has been recalled does not mean it is not a reliable car. Millions of cars get recalled every year. Recalls often involve problems that are rare but could cause a serious problem if they occur. So the risk to any given driver is often remote, even though there may be a few high-profile incidents traced to the problem.
