THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE RAM 1500. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 75 MPH, THE VEHICLE VEERED TO THE LEFT INDEPENDENTLY WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE TECHNICIAN DID NOT DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE; HOWEVER, THE INSURANCE ADJUSTER STATED THAT THE REAR END NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,046.

THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT FAILURE RECURRED TWO OTHER TIMES. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 28,000.
