5/4/2016 - FLORISSANT,, MO
THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 CHRYSLER 300. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE LOW BEAMS, TURN SIGNALS, AND GAUGES ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL FLICKERED. IN ADDITION, THE SERVICE ENGINE AND TPMS WARNING LIGHTS REMAINED ILLUMINATED FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME. THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS PERIODICALLY SLOW TO RESPOND AND DID NOT FULLY DEPRESS, SO THE CONTACT CONSTANTLY HAD TO APPLY FORCE TO ENSURE THAT THE VEHICLE STOPPED. THE CONTACT LATER RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS: 14V567000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) AND 15V313000 (AIR BAGS). THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER WHO STATED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT WAS UNCERTAIN IF THE REPAIRS WOULD BE COMPLETED WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME FRAME. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
