RECALL FOR TIRES : TREAD/BELT

THE INVOLVED TIRES FAIL TO MEET THE ENDURANCE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 119, "NEW PNEUMATIC TIRES FOR VEHICLES OTHER THAN PASSENGER CARS". THE PREMATURE FAILURE IS DUE TO TREAD SEPARATION UNDER ADVERSE CONDITIONS OF OVERLOAD, HIGH SPEED, OR UNDERINFLATION.

Description THE INVOLVED TIRES FAIL TO MEET THE ENDURANCE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 119, "NEW PNEUMATIC TIRES FOR VEHICLES OTHER THAN PASSENGER CARS". THE PREMATURE FAILURE IS DUE TO TREAD SEPARATION UNDER ADVERSE CONDITIONS OF OVERLOAD, HIGH SPEED, OR UNDERINFLATION.
Consequences
Corrective action THE DEALER WILL INSTALL REPLACEMENT TIRES WHICH WILL BE MOUNTED AND BALANCED FREE OF CHARGE WITHIN 60 DAYS OF NOTIFICATION.
