Was on my way to work going 60 mph when suddenly it started jerking I let off the gas was going over an over pass lots of traffic behind me. Looked at the gages speedometer and shift were just moving up and down like crazy. I was so scared. Slowed down and pulled to the side. Turned it off called my husband which is a mechanic asked if I was ok I said just shaking and scared. I started it and went to dealership slowly. Truck there see what they say. It should be on recall because it is a safety issue.

My touch screen goes from completely being blacked out to reading a mechanism error

Do you drive a 2011 FORD F-150?

Just because a car has been recalled does not mean it is not a reliable car. Millions of cars get recalled every year. Recalls often involve problems that are rare but could cause a serious problem if they occur. So the risk to any given driver is often remote, even though there may be a few high-profile incidents traced to the problem.
