PE00020; TIRE TREAD SEPARATION: WHILE DRIVING ABOUT 65 MPH TREAD ON THE DRIVER'S REAR SIDE TIRE CAME OFF. DRIVER WAS ABLE TO CONTROL VEHICLE. TIRE WAS ON A 1995, SUBURBAN, TIRE SIZE LT24575R16, ORIGINAL TIRE EQUIPMENT. ABOUT ONE MONTH LATER,TREAD CAME OFF THE REAR PASSENGER'S SIDE TIRE. FIRESTONE PAID FOR DAMAGES DONE TO TRUCK. OWNER RECEIVED A PRORATION ON THE TIRES.

PE00020; ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT ON A CHEVROLET SUBURAN, TREAD IS SEPARATING FROM TIRES. BOTH REAR FIRESTONE STEELTEX R4S II TIRES (24575R16) EXPERIENCED TREAD SEPARATION, THE CONSUMER REPLACED ALL 4 TIRES AND THESE TIRES WERE NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. DOT#VN11B1B501

PE00 020; CONSUMER WAS TRAVELING ABOUT 50MPH ON HIGHWAY AND CONSUMER HEARD A CLANKING NOISE BEHIND VEHICLE, AND FELT A VIBRATION. PULLED OVER, AND FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE TIRE TREAD HAD SEPARATED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THEN, NEXT DAY CONS PULLED INTO A TIRE PLACE, AND EMPLOYEE TOLD HER THAT RIGHT PASSENGER'S TIRE TREAD WAS BEGINNING TO UNTREND. TIRE WERE FIRESTONES AT ALLTERRAIN AND, TIRE SIZE WAS 245-75R16.

BATTERY LEAKED ACID, AND FAILED. ALTENATOR FAILED AT SAME TIME. REPLACED BOTH ALTENATOR AND BATTERY BUT CONTINUED TO HAVE ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS. FOUND THAT ACID LEAKAGE HAD CORRODED TWO BATTERY CONNECTION CABLES INSIDE THEIR RUBBER HOUSINGS.

DRIVER SEAT BRACKET INSIDE THE SEAT BROKE, CAUSES SEAT TO LEAN ON ONE SIDE. MANUFACTURER NOTIFIED, AND INFORMED CONSUMER THAT VEHICLE WAS OUT OF WARRANTY, AND NOTHING WOULD BE DONE UNLESS COST GO TO CONSUMER. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO PROVIDE ANY FURTHER DETAIL.

EFECTIVE BATTERY DOES NOT GIVE ENOUGH POWER TO THE VEHICLE WHILE PULLING HORSES WHICH MAY CAUSE A CRASH. DEALER CANNOT DETERMINE THE PROBLEM, BUT HAVE REPLACE THE ALTERNATOR AND OTHER PARTS. BATTERY BEEN REPLACE 4 TIMES. PROBLEM IS STILL OCCURRING. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION.
