ALERO CUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING AND WON'T START BACK FOR HOURS. DEALERSHIP AND MECHANICS CAN'T FIND OUT WHY THIS IS OCCURRING. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS, THE CAR RANDOMLY CUTS OFF WITHOUT WARNING. I HAVE SEARCHED ONLINE AND FOUND THIS FORUM WHERE OTHERS HAVE ENCOUNTERED THE VERY SAME ISSUE: HTTP://WWW.CARCOMPLAINTS.COM/OLDSMOBILE/ALERO/2000/ENGINE/ENGINE_CUTS_OFF_WHILE_DRIVING.SHTML.

CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER FAILED ON FEBRUARY 5 AND HAS BEEN AT THE DEALER SINCE THE MORNING OF THE 6TH. GM IS UNABLE TO FIND REPLACEMENT PART. THIS PART IS ALSO USED ON THE 2002 GRAND AM WITH STANDARD TRANSMISSION. AS THIS RENDERS THE CAR INOPERABLE (WON\\'T SRART AND CAN\\'T SHIFT GEARS). I FIND IT INCREDIBLE THAT THERE ISN\\'T ONE TO BE FOUND IN THE US
