THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH, THE CONTACT HEARD A LOUD NOISE WHEN THE REAR WINDOW DEFOGGER WAS ACTIVATED. THE REAR WINDOW EXPLODED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS A KNOWN ISSUE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 44,000.

11/29/2016 - DAYTON, NV
LEAKING WATER AT VEHICLE'S REAR DRIVER'S SIDE AND PASSENGER CORNERS. LEAKING WATER FROM PASSENGER'S SIDE HANDLE. WHILE VEHICLE WAS PARKED ON PRIVATE DRIVEWAY DURING MULTIPLE RAIN STORMS, IT WAS FOUND MULTIPLE TIMES THE TRUCK CAB WAS LEAKING PROFUSE AMOUNTS OF WATER FROM THE REAR CAB CORNERS AND FRONT PASSENGER SIDE HANDLE. WHEN RESEARCHING THIS DISCREPANCY, IT HAS BEEN FOUND THIS VERY PROBLEM HAS BEEN REPORTED MULTIPLE TIMES ACROSS THE COUNTRY. IT'S STATED THE LEAK IS MORE OFTEN THAN NOT FROM THE TRUCK'S 3RD BRAKE LIGHT, AND THE PASSENGER SIDE HANDLE LEAK IS FROM A LEAKING SATELLITE ANTENNAE. THIS HAZARDOUS CONDITION CAN LEAD TO MOLD, ROT AND RUST ISSUES WITH THE TRUCK, AS WELL AS POTENTIALLY SHORT OUT ELECTRICAL DUE TO WATER RUNNING DOWN THE VEHICLE'S INTERIOR FRAME AND COLLECTING ON THE VEHICLE'S FLOORBOARD AND ELECTRICAL CHANNEL AREAS. DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF COMPLAINANTS REGARDING THIS DISCREPANCY, A RECALL SHOULD BE SOUGHT AND ISSUED TO FIX THE DISCREPANCIES.

THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 FORD F-150. WHEN THE ELECTRONIC REAR DEFROST SYSTEM WAS ACTIVATED, AN ABNORMAL BANG SOUND EMITTED FROM THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT DISCOVERED THAT THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE PANEL HAD FRACTURED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000.

THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE REAR WINDOW DEFROSTER WAS ACTIVATED AND THE REAR PASSENGER WINDSHIELD FRACTURED WITHOUT WARNING. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE REAR DEFROSTER OVERHEATED AND CAUSED THE REAR WINDOW TO FRACTURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 70 MPH, THE ENGINE REVVED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE AND LATER TAKEN TO A LOCAL DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ROCKER ARM FRACTURED INTO PIECES AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL. THE FAILURE WAS REMEDIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 82,000.

GOT INTO VEHICLE FOR 1 MILE TRIP TO TRAIN STATION, OUTSIDE WEATHER CONDITIONS WERE 46 DEG. F AND OVERCAST. TURNED ON WINDSHIELD DEFROST - BOTH FRONT AND REAR. AFTER ABOUT 10 MINUTES OF SITTING IN THE PARKED VEHICLE OFF OF THE STREET, AT 5:23AM, THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR WINDOW POPPED VERY LOUDLY. WHEN INVESTIGATED, THE REAR WINDOW WAS SHATTERED.

BRAKING SYSTEM FAILING, EVER SINCE I DROVE IT OFF THE LOT AFTER PURCHASE FROM DEALERSHIP JUNE 2015, I TOLD THEM SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH BRAKING SYSTEM, THEY SAY OH NO NEW BRAKES. I PUT BRAND NEW BRAKES CALIPERS ROTORS AND PRESSURE HOSES ON MY TRUCK. EVERY 1800 MILES OR LESS BRAKING SYSTEM IS FAILING, EVERY 1800 MILE OR LESS REPLACING PADS AND ROTORS. MY PADS ARE WEARING SO QUICKLY AND EATING THROUGH ROTORS. AS SOON AS I PUT NEW ONES ON THERES BRAKE DUST INSTANTLY AND ALWAYS. SOMETIMES TRUCK IS BRAKING ON ITS OWN WHEN NOT ACCELERATING WHEN I COASTING VEHICLE. I HAVE TRIED TAKING IT TO DEALER THEY SAY NOTHING IS WRONG WITH IT. I HAVE HAD IT FOR OVER A YEAR NOW AND IT STILL CONTINUES TO HAPPEN. SOMETHING IS SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH THIS BRAKING SYSTEM.

THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. AT TIMES, THE VEHICLE WOULD ALSO FAIL TO START. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER WHO WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.
