THIS VEHICLE HAS HAD THE SRS LIGHT ON SEVEN TIMES AND REPAIRED. SEAT BELTS HAVE BEEN REPLACED AND PARTIAL WIRING HARNESS REPLACEMENT. THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN AN ISSUE SINCE 2015.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED, THE SEAT BELT INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND REMAINED ACTIVATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO FINNIN FORD (3600 DUBUQUE ST, DUBUQUE, IA 52003, 563-556-1010) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE RCM NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 50,000. THE CONSUMER STATED 7 WIRES WERE BURNT THROUGH IN THE WIRING HARNESS.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD F-150. WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE, THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE AND DRIVER SIDE SEAT BELTS FAILED TO SECURE THE PASSENGERS WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS ABRUPTLY DEPRESSED. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER AND LOCAL DEALER (MULLINEX FORD LOCATED IN LAKE PARK, FL) WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 74,000.

VEHICLE HAD BEEN UNDER A FOMOCO LEASE AGREEMENT. 2011 FORD F-150 XLT VIN# [XXX] CURRENT MILEAGE (9/11/2017): 83610 8/3/2015 MILEAGE: 45736 INVOICE NUMBER: [XXX] DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT BELT PRE-TENSIONER REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY. 10/28/2015 MILEAGE: 50687 INVOICE NUMBER: [XXX] 1. HIGH RESISTANCE IN DRIVER SIDE WIRING. 2. CLEANED CONNECTOR AND RESEATED. 3. NO PARTS. I WAS CHARGE $236.99 AND I STILL CONTEND THIS WAS A WARRANTY ISSUE AND I SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN CHARGED. 5/2/2016 MILEAGE: 57414 INVOICE NUMBER: [XXX] PASSENGER SIDE PRE-TENSIONER REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY. ON APRIL 29, 2016, I CONTACTED FORD MOTOR COMPANY CUSTOMER RELATIONS AND OPENED A CASE CONCERNING THESE SRS PROBLEMS WITH THIS VEHICLE. TIME: 3:15 PM CASE# [XXX] AGENT: [XXX] VEHICLE SAFETY IS A RESPONSIBILITY OF THE MANUFACTURER. I AM GETTING READY TO GO ON VACATION THE END OF THIS WEEK AND I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THIS ISSUE FIXED ASAP, PLEASE. IN THE LAST 20+ YEARS I HAVE NEVER OWNED A VEHICLE THAT HAS HAD THIS MANY ISSUES, CONCERNING THE SAFETY RESTRAINT SYSTEM. I CONTACTED FORD CUSTOMER RELATION AGAIN THIS MORNING AND HAVE A REF NUMBER [XXX] I HAVE OWNED SEVERAL CARS WITH SRS DURING THE LAST 25+ YEARS AND NOT HAD THIS MANY PROBLEMS WITH ANY VEHICLE I HAVE OWNED. WENT ON A 350 MILE TRIP, I WAS AT A STOP LIGHT AND WHEN I WENT TO ACCELERATE THE TRUCK LOST ALL POWER. I HAVE ONE OF THE ECOBOOST ENGINES. THE ENGINE DID FIX ITSELF AND I CONTINUED WITH NO OTHER PROBLEM, THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I EXPERIENCED THIS PROBLEM. 2011 FORD F150 KING RANCH.
