THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME. THE CONTACT CONTACTED TOYOTA OF NEWNAN 2 HERRING RD, NEWNAN, GA 30265 (770) 502-1333, WHERE WAS INFORMED THAT PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE RECALL REMEDY. TAKATA RECALL - I RECEIVED A RECALL LETTER OVER A YEAR AGO AND I AM STILL BEING TOLD THERE IS NOT A REMEDY FOR THE RECALL. I LIVE IN A VERY HOT AND HUMID CLIMATE NEAR CHARLESTON, SC AND I DRIVE MY GRANDKIDS AROUND IN MY CAR THAT COULD BE DEADLY. I NEED FOR TOYOTA TO EITHER REPLACE OR REMOVE THE DEFECTIVE AIRBAG BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT. I'VE HAD TO WAIT TOO LONG AND THE VALUE OF MY CAR HAS DECREASED BECAUSE OF THIS RECALL SO I CAN'T EVEN CONSIDER TRADING IT IN FOR A SAFE CAR. PLEASE HELP.
