TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE TRANSMISSION DOWNSHIFTED INDEPENDENTLY. THE ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL AND TRACTION CONTROL INDICATORS ILLUMINATED CONTINUOUSLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 84,161.

2010 CHEVY TRAVERSE WITH APPROX 20K MILES. 5 TIMES HAS POSTED A MESSAGE STATING "TRACTION CONTROL DISABLED, SERVICE STABIL-TRACK". THIS HAPPENED 4 TIMES WITHIN A WEEK. TOOK TO DEALER AND THEY COULD NOT REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM. THEY CHECKED FOR COMPUTER CODES AND FOUND NONE. PROBLEM WENT AWAY FOR APPROX. 4 WEEKS THEN RETURNED AGAIN THIS MORNING. IT APPEARED TO RESET ITSELF AFTER STOPPING THE ENGINE FOR 5 MINUTES.
