Problem with Fuel Propulsion System
-
Oct 19, 2012 - Arundel, ME - Fuel/Propulsion System
WHILE TRAVELING ON THE HIGHWAY, I RAN OVER ROAD DEBRIS WHEN CHANGING LANES (SAW IT TOO LATE TO SWERVE). THE LEFT FRONT WHEEL KICKED UP THE ROAD DEBRIS AND I FELT IT HIT THE UNDERCARRIAGE. A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER, WHEN ADDING FUEL TO THE TANK, WE DISCOVERED THAT THE FUEL FILLER NECK HAD BEEN SHEARED OFF! THE FUEL WE WERE PUMPING WENT STRAIGHT TO THE GROUND.
