I AM THE OWNER OF 2006 HONDA ODYSSEY. I STARTED TO FEEL THE VEHICLE BREAK PEDALS SOFT AND LOW OVER 2 YEARS AGO. THE PROBLEM RESULTS ME HAVING EXTENDED STOPPING DISTANCE FOR SAFETY. EACH TIME WHEN I DRIVE IT I HAVE TO PAY EXTRA ATTENTION TO KEEP THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME. I WENT TO DEALER FOR REPAIR LAST YEAR WHEN I HAD NORMAL SERVICES. THE DEALER TOLD ME THAT THEY FOUND NOTHING WRONG AND IT CAN?T BE ADJUSTED. I WENT TO THE SAME DEALER AGAIN FOR NORMAL SERVICE YESTERDAY AND ASKED FOR BREAK CHECK UP AGAIN. THE DEALER TOLD ME THEY FOUND THAT VSA MODULATOR IS IN FAULTY AND IT WILL COST ME AROUND $1,000 JUST FOR PARTS SINCE MY WARRANTY TIME IS OVER. I STATED I HAD THIS PROBLEM 2 YEARS AGO AND YOU CHECK AND FOUND IT WAS NOTHING WRONG WHILE IT WAS STILL UNDER THE WARRANTY. PLUS, MY ODYSSEY ONLY HAS 10,000 MILES ON THE METER SINCE THIS IS OUR SPARE VEHICLE WE DON'T DRIVE MUCH. THE DEALER AGREED WITH ME AND ARRANGED FOR ANOTHER FULL DAY RE-CHECK UP AND WILL GET HONDA TO INVOLVE. TODAY I HAPPENED TO SEE ONLINE THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE TO HAVE THIS PROBLEM. AS OF THE FEATURE OF THE VAN, MOST OF TIME WE HAVE CHILDREN ON BOARD. WHAT A DANGEROUS "GAME" WE ARE PLAYING! THANKS GOD, WE DON'T USE IT MUCH AND HAVE NOT HAD ANY INCIDENT. JUST NOTICE I HAVE TO INPUT THE INCIDENT DATE BELOW BEFORE SUBMISSION. I PUT A DUMMY DATE OF 01-01-06 INSTEAD ( I BOUGHT MY ODYSSEY AFTER THIS DATE).
