THE TWO LITTLE PLACES TO PRESS TO SOUND THE HORN ARE ABSURD. HOW CAN A PERSON BLOW THE HORN QUICKLY WHICH IS WHEN AN EMERGENCY TAKES PLACE IS REQUIRED. AM I SUPPOSED TO TURN THE STEERING WHEEL STRAIGHT AND THEN LOOK FOR THE HORN ICONS. LETS PUT BACK THE STANDARD HORN RING OR PUSH BUTTON CENTER ACTIVATED.

DT*: THE CONTACT STATED THE REAR BACKING ALARM WAS INAUDIBLE TO THE DRIVER. THIS CAUSED A MINOR ACCIDENT WHILE BACKING; THE CONTACT STRUCK ANOTHER VEHICLE CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE. THE DEALERSHIP AND MANUFACTURER DETERMINED THIS IS HOW THE VEHICLE WAS MANUFACTURED AND NO REPAIRS ARE AVAILABLE.

May 18, 2005 - Glenfield, ND - Back Up Alarm
2005 CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY BACK UP WARNING ALARM NEVER WORKED AS THEY WERE DESIGNED TO. THE CONSUMER EXPLAINED THAT THE VISUAL WARNING WORKED WELL BUT THE AUDIO ALARM WAS NOT LOUD ENOUGH. THE DEALER WAS NOTIFIED AND TOLD THE CONSUMER THAT THEY HAD RECEIVED SEVERAL SIMILAR COMPLAINTS AND NOTIFIED THE MANUFACTURER. THE CONSUMER ALSO NOTIFIED THE MANUFACTURER.
